President Sasamori is traveling across Japan with “Action Route 47.” This action’s theme is “Stop Unemployment” and was established to bring about a dialog among local bureaucrats, employer’s associations, union members, and our fellow workers who have not yet unionized. The program started in mid-November and is in its second month. Since that time, it has visited seven locations nationwide (Hokkaido, Okinawa, Osaka, Gifu, Hyogo, Shizuoka, Mie). Sasamori intends to actively exchange opinions with locals and will go around to twelve more prefectures by the end of February. For more detailed information on the visits please visit RENGO’s homepage at (http://www.jtuc-rengo.or.jp/).
