On September 12, the RENGO Evaluatory Committee held its 5th and final meeting at RENGO headquarters and proposed its “final report” which included proposals for across-the-board RENGO movements. In response, RENGO released the General Secretary’s comment that same day which said “we take the proposals very seriously and intend to deal with them in a straight forward manner.”
At the 26th Central Executive Committee Meeting held on September 11th, the committee endorsed a “Plan of Activities on Issues Raised by RENGO’s Evaluatory Committee.” This was formulated to be an execution program that responds to the proposals presented in the Evaluatory Committee Interim Report. The plan indicates the immediate issues to be included in specific activities of the “2004-2005 Principles on Movements” (this is scheduled to be endorsed at the 8th Regular Convention) as well as on other issues which are slated for four to five year medium-term activities.
