Fund-raising Campaign for Workers Running

Street fund-raising action in Tokyo

On 3 March, RENGO with other related organizations launched a nationwide fund-raising campaign for job security and self-sustained life for workers struggling with the worsening employment situation. To raise public awareness and cooperation, RENGO HQs put an advertisement in major newspapers dated 3 March extensively and appealed to people on the street. Local RENGOs across the country also started actions for the campaign individually.

This campaign lasts until this June. The donation collected from all over the country will be provided to Japanese NPO projects: creating new jobs, supporting for non-regular workers’ living, contributing to vocational training or capacity building, or helping jobless people.
